Hawaii: Episode 4 - Bugs, Plants, and Animals

This was, as I was telling Andrew, "The most important part of the whole trip!!!" This was the day I got to go to the Tropical Botanical Garden. Before we headed there, however, we made a quick stop at the Hawaiian zoo. It was raining and we forgot the umbrella so we didn't take any pictures. Well, except this one as we drove out:

Just a picture of the zoo entrance sign. The zoo wasn't all that amazing, but it was fun since we had the park to ourselves. We saw peacocks, anteaters, a tiger, and a whole lot of ducks. The most exotic part of the whole zoo was probably the big-bottomed monkeys. Still, fun since it was raining. We just walked through the whole thing in about a half hour.

Then we came to the MOST IMPORTANT PART!

I loved it! We literally took pictures of every single flower. Actually, for realistically Andrew took pictures of every single flower as I pranced around and pointed at things that we needed pictures of. Since I can't share ALL of our pictures, here's a few of the really weird ones.

As a side note, I also collected more than my fair share of bug bites at this most important location. I counted more than 12 bug bites all bigger than my thumbnail - most bigger than two of my thumbnails. BLECH!
